Procedure For OAA Show Entries

Read the show rules, which are sent out by email well in advance of the show.  The rules will identify the show chair and any special requirements the show may have.

Use the newest entry form.  You’ll find it on the home page of this website, or click the button below.  Fill out the entry form completely.  Remember to sign the damage release!

Email an image of each work and a copy of the entry form to the show chair.  Look at Tony Kay's presentation on "Capturing high quality photos of your art," on this page, for help with the photography.  Also, you can watch the videos on this page to help you take photos of your art.

Prepay entry fees via this website (on the “payments” page, or click the button below) or send a check to the show chair.

If the show is an online gallery show (a "virtual show"), you can email images of your artwork and related entry forms to the show chair.  Pay your entry fees (see above), and that's it!

If the show is not an online gallery show:

  • You must arrange to have your work dropped off at the show’s take-in location.

  • Pay your entry fees in advance on the website or bring cash/check to the take-in.

  • At the take-in, completed entry forms must be attached on the back of the work, on the upper left hand corner.

  • Frames must be clean and sturdy.

  • Use secure hanging wire and D rings.  Sawtooth hangers are not permitted. Protruding screw eyes or hangers are not permitted.

  • Glass is not permitted.  Use plexiglass or other shatterproof acrylic if needed for framing and presentation.
